These terms cover your use of the Eden Grove Outdoor Living website. By using the site, you accept them and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. They are in plain English, which is rarer in terms of service than it ought to be.

Who we are

Eden Grove Outdoor Living designs and installs pergolas, verandas and carports across Kent, Greater London and East Sussex. We are based in Faversham, Kent.

Using this website

  • You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. That covers browsing, planning your own project and sharing links.
  • The information here is general. We keep it as accurate as we can, but products, specifications and prices change. We may update or remove anything on the site without notice.
  • Colours on a screen can look different from the real finish, depending on your device and its settings.
  • We cannot promise the site will always be available or free of mistakes.

Prices, quotes and orders

  • Prices on this site, including those in our configurator, can change without notice. The price you pay is the one we confirm in writing when you order.
  • Sending an enquiry, or a design from the configurator, does not place an order. It does not commit you to anything.
  • You must be 18 or over to place an order.
  • An order only goes ahead once we have confirmed it. We can decline an order for any reason, and we will tell you if we do.
  • If a price or description on the site turns out to be wrong, we can correct it. If the mistake affects your order, we will contact you before going any further.
  • Delivery and installation dates are estimates. Suppliers run late and the British weather does what it likes, so we will tell you as soon as a date moves.
  • Cancellations and refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Our content

The words, photographs, designs and logos on this site belong to Eden Grove Outdoor Living, or to the people who license them to us, such as the manufacturers whose products we install. You may not copy, republish or sell them without our written permission. Sharing a link to a page is fine.

The Eden Grove Outdoor Living name and logo are our trade marks. Other product and brand names belong to their owners.

Reviews, photos and ideas you send us

If you send us a review, photo, suggestion or other feedback, you allow us to use it to run and promote our business. That permission is free of charge and has no time limit. We will ask before we publish your name with it.

By sending it, you confirm that it is yours to share, and that it is honest and lawful. We do not have to publish it or reply to it. We may edit or remove anything that is unlawful, offensive or breaks these terms.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to other websites, such as manufacturers and the sources we quote. We do not control them, and we are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. Check their terms before you buy anything from them.

Things you must not do

Use the site lawfully. In particular, do not:

  • use it to break the law, or to help anyone else break it
  • try to hack it, overload it or get around its security
  • upload viruses or any other harmful code
  • send spam, or enquiries that are false or misleading
  • pretend to be someone else
  • collect other people's personal information from it
  • harass, abuse or threaten our team or anyone else

We can suspend or withdraw access to the site at any time, including if you break these terms.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

This site is for general information. Except where the law says otherwise, we are not responsible for losses caused by relying on it, or by it being unavailable. The details confirmed in writing for your own project are what count.

We do not limit our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

If you break these terms or the law while using the site, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you are responsible for the costs you cause.

  • If a court decides that part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If we do not enforce one of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • We can transfer our rights under these terms to another business. You need our written permission to transfer yours.
  • These terms and the policies on this site are the whole agreement between us about your use of the website.
  • The headings are there to help you find your way. They do not change what the terms mean.
  • English law applies to these terms, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the new version applies.
