Louvered roof installation
Blades that open for sun, angle for shade and seal shut against rain, draining away inside the posts. Surveyed and fitted by us across Kent, Greater London and East Sussex.
- BS EN1090 accredited frames
- Motorised or manual crank
- Free site survey, no cost
- Installed from one day

A louvered roof does what no fixed roof can: open for sun, angled for shade, sealed against rain, draining through the posts. It's why louvred designs have overtaken traditional open-rafter pergolas in this country. A slatted roof gets used a few weekends a year; a louvred one gets used most of it.
The choice within the type is how it moves. Motorised systems respond from a remote or wall switch and can close themselves when rain starts; manual crank systems cost less and never need a power supply. Both take screens and side panels on any elevation, which is what turns a summer structure into a year-round one. If what you actually want is an open frame with something climbing over it, a timber pergola is cheaper and looks lovely doing it. You do not need us for that one.

What customers actually said
Three reviews, quoted word for word from our Google Business Profile. Names included because they are already public there. No composites, no tidying.
★★★★★Sadie GoodwinPergola with lighting and heating
Highly recommend Eden Grove. I purchased a Pergola and it's perfect, creating a beautiful dining space to sit outside longer into the evening. The lights and heater make it extra special. From choosing a pergola to installation Eden made the whole process easy.
★★★★★Francesca DavisonMorvelle pergola, Sittingbourne

The detail
Sun, shade or sealed
The blades track the sun through the day and interlock into a rain-tight surface when closed.
Motorised or manual
Remote-controlled with rain sensors, or a crank handle with no power supply needed.
Takes sides later
Zip screens, glass and louvred panels mount on any elevation, now or a year down the line.
The ranges we fit
Are louvered roofs waterproof?
Good ones, yes. Closed blades seal into a continuous surface and rain drains through concealed gutters in the frame. Build quality shows here first, which is why we only fit BS EN1090 accredited frames, and why the Morvelle range carries a 10-year structural guarantee.
Motorised or manual?
Motorised for convenience, sensors and integrated lighting; manual crank for a lower cost and no electrics. Both control sun and rain the same way.
Can louvres handle snow and wind?
Properly installed aluminium systems are engineered for UK conditions. Exposed, coastal and hilltop sites need the fixing spec adjusted, which is a survey conversation rather than a reason to avoid the format.
