Carport installation
Frost off the windscreen, paintwork out of the sun, and covered standing room for everything else the weather ruins. Surveyed and fitted by us across Kent, Greater London and East Sussex.
- BS EN1090 accredited frames
- 9 widths, 5 projections
- LED lighting as standard
- Free site survey, no cost

An aluminium carport is the practical cousin of the veranda: the same engineered frame and roofing, positioned to keep frost off the windscreen and weather off the paintwork. No planning-heavy garage build, no annual maintenance, and the space doubles as covered standing room for bikes, bins and everything else British weather ruins.
We supply and install the Deponti carport range in freestanding and wall-mounted formats. The survey settles the practical questions: ground fixings into your existing drive, water run-off, and height for anything taller than a family car. If what you want is summer shade and somewhere to keep the frost off, and you are relaxed about replacing it in a few years, a flat-pack timber kit and a free weekend will do that job perfectly well. So will a good fitted car cover. Neither of those needs us.

What customers actually said
Two reviews, quoted word for word from our Google Business Profile. Names included because they are already public there. No composites, no tidying.
★★★★★Sam CreedCarport, Tunbridge Wells
Chose Eden Grove for our carport in Tunbridge Wells because they're accredited installers and the build quality clearly justified it. No pressure, every question answered, and the powder-coated finish looks high-end. Added real value to the house. Brilliant.

The detail
Frost off the windscreen
The daily payoff every winter morning, plus paintwork out of the sun and sap.
Engineered aluminium
The same powder-coated frames as our verandas: no rot, no rust, no re-painting.
Freestanding or attached
Against the house or over a standalone drive, sized to your vehicles at the survey.
The ranges we fit
Do I need planning permission for a carport?
Usually not; most fall under permitted development within the standard height limits. Forward-of-the-house positions and conservation areas need checking, which we do at the survey.
Can it fix to my existing driveway?
Usually. Posts need sound fixings, and the survey confirms whether your drive surface can take them or whether pads are needed.
What is the roof made of?
It depends on the range. The Pinela system is roofed in steel with an anti-condensation layer, which is what stops drips landing on the car on cold mornings. Polycarbonate and glass suit carports doubling as entrance canopies, where light matters more than insulation. The survey settles which one fits your drive.
