Glass sliding doors are what turn a covered pergola or veranda into something guests call a garden room. Toughened panels slide fully open in summer and close out horizontal rain in autumn, and a glass-sided structure on a bright cold March morning holds real warmth by mid-morning, greenhouse-style.
We fit the Deponti glass systems, including the Viewline slide-and-turn panels, onto new structures and as retrofits to sound existing frames. Leave a panel cracked open when the space is in heavy use; airflow is what keeps condensation off the inside of the glass. It's the biggest single upgrade you can make to an outdoor structure, and the one that gets used the most. If you only sit out in high summer, zip screens cost a fraction of glass and do most of the same job. We would rather point you at those than sell you panels you will not use.

The ranges we fit
Can glass doors be added to an existing pergola?
On an engineered aluminium frame, usually yes. The survey checks the posts are plumb and the track has a true, level line to run on. On timber frames it's often not worth it.
Do glass sides make it a conservatory?
No. It remains an outdoor structure without foundations or building regulations, which is why it installs in days rather than months. You trade permanent insulation for flexibility and light.
What about condensation?
Airflow solves it. Leave a panel slightly open when the space is in heavy use, or crack the louvres a few degrees if the roof adjusts.
