Glass sliding doors in Canterbury
Twenty minutes from our Faversham base via the A2. Same-week surveys are usually possible.
- Toughened safety glass
- Retrofits to sound frames
- Free site survey, no cost
- No building regulations

Around Canterbury glass sides earn their place on period properties precisely because they're honest: transparently modern, fully reversible, and gentler on a conservation setting than any solid-walled extension.
Glass sliding doors are what turn a covered pergola or veranda into something guests call a garden room. Toughened panels slide fully open in summer and close out horizontal rain in autumn, and a glass-sided structure on a bright cold March morning holds real warmth by mid-morning, greenhouse-style.

★★★★★Ben LewisOrdered and installed inside a week
Simple ordering process, delivery and installed within the week, very easy to recommend.
★★★★★Sam CreedCarport, Tunbridge Wells
Chose Eden Grove because they're accredited installers and the build quality clearly justified it. No pressure, every question answered, and the powder-coated finish looks high-end.
Want yours priced properly?
The survey is free and settles the three things that decide the job: ground fixings, water run-off and height. No obligation either way.

The detail
The ranges we fit
Can glass doors be added to an existing pergola?
On an engineered aluminium frame, usually yes. The survey checks the posts are plumb and the track has a true, level line to run on. On timber frames it's often not worth it.
Do glass sides make it a conservatory?
No. It remains an outdoor structure without foundations or building regulations, which is why it installs in days rather than months. You trade permanent insulation for flexibility and light.
What about condensation?
Airflow solves it. Leave a panel slightly open when the space is in heavy use, or crack the louvres a few degrees if the roof adjusts.
